My family is being sued by a church

We are being sued by the church that we live beside over land. This is the same church that harassed us a little over 10 years ago. They wanted us to move out so they could use our home for their bible study. We never would sell. So now they are claiming a part of our land is theres and are taking us to court to get this part of the land. If they win we might as well move, because all we would own is our house. I really don't understand people today, especially people who are supposed to be bringing souls to the lord to be saved. Instead, lets run them out of the community. That's a great way to be about it. I'm not going to be the same as these people are and point out what they do wrong, I could, but what good would it do? All I can say is, before you claim to be something you are not, you should dlip open the good book and have a look at what it says.

Well, where are you located and what is the name of the church

Not a surprise at all, they're the birthplace of corruption. Very few act like they're "supposed to", this is just another example of the hypocrisy that runs wild in churches.

As bad as I want to disagree with you, R13, I can't. A great many churches are that way these days with many more joining their ranks. It drives people to associate their actions with the religion they preach which drives some of those people to stop believing. It's not the only reason people don't believe but I'd say it's a big one. Personally, I don't like going to church for these kinds of reasons. But I still believe.

I believe and trust in Him. I don't go to church for the simple reason you stated SBG. Too much religion and not enough believing.

This is something that should be very clear from the deed your family should have of the land. It just doesn't make sense at all.
